When: October 11, 2019 @ 6:00 pm – 11:45 pm
Where: Copenhagen, Denmark
More than 250 venues will be taking part in the city’s Culture Night celebrations, including theatres, museums, churches and public parks. As ever, the aim of the event is to provide locals and visitors with an inspiring (and sometimes surprising) vision of Danish culture at its very best.
Highlights of previous Culture Night celebrations have included Cold War fashion shows, insect-tasting banquets, and even a voyage into space at the city’s Tycho Brahe Planetarium.
To gain access to all the events happening on the night, you’ll need to buy a Culture Pass for 95 DKK. The pass can be bought at libraries, museums and 7-Eleven stores throughout the capital, from 30th September.
The Culture Pass also includes with free travel on buses, trains, and the Copenhagen Metro for the whole night. All that’s left to do is to dive in, and make the most of Copenhagen’s cultural extravaganza!
Copenhagen’s biggest one-day cultural event is coming back this year, offering a packed program of talks, performances and exhibitions that will light up the city once the sun has gone down.
